What did I know about my field three years ago? Honestly, I didn’t have any knowledge relating to the career path that I’m following now. I was still majoring in nursing and then I stumbled across a intro to microbiology class and had a beautiful explanation of microbiology from Dr. Cunningham. The rest, as they say is history. When I think about the next three years and what I would like to learn I guess for me personally I want to better myself academically and in personal aspects. Academically I’d like to be close to obtaining my masters degree or working towards my PhD. Which means in the next three years I am hoping to have developed a lot of skills necessary for doing my own research. I would also like to really work on traveling, exploring, and taking the time to really enjoy the life that I’ve been given.
